Does Pocketsweep upload my photos?
No. Every scan, feature print, OCR pass, and similarity comparison happens on the device. There is no server backend.
What happens when I "delete" a photo?
iOS shows its own confirmation, then moves the photo to Recently Deleted for 30 days. Pocketsweep never bypasses this. You can recover anything for a month.
Is the free tier actually usable?
Yes. 10 lifetime deletes with the full scanner unlocked. Most people figure out within those 10 if the app feels right.
Why $9.99 lifetime when others charge $4.99/week?
Because the work is done in a single sweep. Charging weekly forever for a one-time job is the trap. Pay once, own it.
